Masthouse Whisky – The No. 5 Series – is here. Our first ever limited edition, special release Masthouse Single Malt Whisky. At cask strength (58% ABV). Specially created to capture the essence of this season – as the nights have drawn in, the cold damp descends and we hunt for cosiness and comfort.

Imagine warm spiced ginger cake with a touch of dark caramel, alongside roasted nuts and baked orchard fruits. There’s a comforting hint of worn leather from an old armchair by the fire, mingled with the deep, earthy aroma of autumn leaves and rich dark chocolate, finishing like a cozy evening with a subtle whiff of a tobacco humidor.

Creating this whisky, we’ve taken samples from 19 different casks ageing back to early 2018 – including ex bourbon, virgin american white oak and the casks we used to age our Damson Gin. This is stark jump from our approach to create our signature single malt where we use just 8 ex-bourbon casks.
